Your route, not a faster one

Plan on the web or in the app and the app guides you along that route. If you leave it, it brings you back using the same route style.

Speed limit

The posted limit sits next to your speed, drawn like the roadside sign in mph or km/h, and turns red while you are over it.

Warnings for the road ahead

A short spoken line and a small notice beside the map, shown once and then gone:

• Pavement ending in gravel or dirt, metal-grate bridges, rail crossings, and a sharp bend after a fast stretch.
• The last gas station before a long stretch with none.
• Rain, strong gusts or near-freezing air where the route will take you.
• Accidents, closures and roadworks on the Fastest style, plus tolls, ferries and borders on any style.

Every group of warnings has its own switch in the app settings.
